Moonlight House #2 was designed and built in 2018. A single story with 2 bedrooms / 2.5 baths, this house was designed for two practitioners of Buddhism who perform 4-month long silent retreats throughout the year. They requested a single home that could function as a typical home but also contained a separate apartment within; acoustically separated to provide the silence and privacy necessary for retreats.
Big views of the mountains to the east as well as Valley views to the west and bright, warm sunny interiors were requested. A large Great Room allows for entertaining while gazing up at the mountains.
The friends who bought land next to each other on Moonlight had this Stupa built between their homes.
