Located on a mining claim in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona, the Higbee cabin was designed to be fireproof and buildable by the client and his son – both structural steel welders. (My colleague at Ecosa Design Studio created the stellar Sketchup model above, but I did all the other renderings and construction documentation.)
